Not much good as a shopping list

I tried to enter my shopping list into the app. It wont add a generic item like "hamburger patties". You have to do a search for some branded item in the store. To get my hamburger patties, I had to enter "meat" and then scroll through hundreds of items looking for what I wanted. I finally gave up and went back to my pad of paper. What a shame. I was looking forward to being able to have a shopping list by store aisle, to avoid running back and forth from one end of the store to the other a dozen times. Oh well, I guess I need the exercise.
